Testing, Certification, & Fabrication for Rigging

At CWR Hawaii, we offer fabrication, repair, testing, shipping, testing and certification, and consulting services. Our fabrication services include wire rope, webbing, and chain slings and rigging assemblies. Rope splicing services are also provided. Our repair services include fixing and servicing hoists, winches and other rigging equipment. We deliver free to most Oahu locations; otherwise, we ship worldwide through all major carriers.

Fabrications
We are the most complete rigging company in the central Pacific region offering custom fabrication for all different types wire rope and chain sling assemblies! We currently stock a vast array of sizes and types of wire rope, synthetic rope, and chain with all the necessary accessories to fabricate rigging assemblies that will meet your every need. We also do a number of both in-house and on-site hot zinc socket pours for a wide range of marine applications. Besides all this, we also fabricate polyester/nylon web slings, netting, and other webbing assemblies to meet your unique needs with custom rigging applications.
Repairs
At CWR Hawaii, we offer complete repair, service, and testing of manual, electric, and pneumatic hoists and winches. We are an official repair station for Ingersoll-Rand and Columbus-McKinnon products. Our repair facility is for in-house repairs only and we can proof load test our repairs up to 10 tons. Repairs are available for hand chain, lever chain, electric chain, and pneumatic hoists, as well as electric and pneumatic winches and plate clamps.
Inspections
Are your web slings frayed or worn? Do wire rope slings appear to have broken strands? Just call our office to schedule an appointment for an on-site rigging inspection. Our Account Managers are always in the field doing inspections and making recommendations for our valued and loyal customers.
Consulting
Our team of experts can assist you in meeting your wire rope, chain, and webbing needs. We can also assist you with the testing required. Additionally, advice can be provided about the feasibility of changes and alternatives to different sling designs. |
Load Cell Calibration & Certification
We offer state-of-the-art load cell calibration services by an on-site certified tester if required. When required, we can also provide a certificate of certification along with each test.
Testing
Our testing services includes the testing of rigging assemblies and the calibration of load cells. We can provide certification certificates for both these testing services. |

Shipping
After placing your order, we ship it anywhere worldwide. It does not matter if your order is a small box of rigging hardware, lifting or tested equipment, or even very large custom fabricated rigging assembly. We normally provide free delivery service to most locations on the islands of Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. For other customers, we are constantly shipping to the other islands of Hawaii, Guam, and a few Asia countries. Any item, big or small, can be shipped either by air or sea through a wide variety of reliable and reasonably priced freight companies.
Rigging Assembly Testing & Certification
We offer both proof load testing and destruction pull tests. Our test equipment can handle specimens up to 76 feet in length. We can apply test loads of 375 tons (750,000 pounds). Along with each test comes a certificate of testing. Roberts Testing is the manufacturer of our testing equipment. |
